Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
• Apply a full range of program management strategies, philosophies, policies, and procedures to perform a wide range of acquisition management activities to include support for pre- and post-award gates and milestone reviews

• Proactively manage escalations and resolutions including resource performance, deliverable and customer satisfaction
• Apply knowledge of planning, programming, and budgeting as well as resource planning and execution processes, to support customer program planning, decision briefings, and progress assessment
• Coordinate with human resources, operations and customer staff to manage project resources
• Oversee the development, analysis, and maintenance of and Integrated Master Plans/Integrated Master Schedules (IMPs/IMSs)
• Organize, manage, and lead contractor employees in the performance of the task orders described in the Statement of Work (SOW). Determine client requirements and translate requirements into operational plans
• Assist in review and analysis of cost and schedule estimates associated with Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Contract Change Proposals (CCPs), change orders, and prime contract modifications
• Apply a senior level understanding of full-life-cycle acquisition, and contracting principles and best practices
• Effectively lead highly technical teams and projects in an independent environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and the ability to apply a full range of engineering skills to oversee optimal solution engineering and development
• Apply a full range of engineering management skills to oversee optimal solution engineering and development
• Identify emerging customer requirements; contribute to task order capture strategies and execution

Skills & Requirements
• Understanding of CMS environment and prior CMS, HHS experience required
• ITIL/PMP preferred and understanding of Acquisition process
• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree desired
• Extensive experience as CMS Program Manager, Product Manager, and/or Project Manager; experience overseeing enterprise materiel fielding and IT capabilities deployment;

A Square Group (ASG) is seeking a team of System Engineer and System Administrators who engineer, administer and support the complete HBSS system based on Windows platform. The System Engineers will engineer, deploy and conduct root cause analysis for the complete end to end system. The System Administrators will support the operating System, associated access management, LAN/WAN and McAfee based HBSS product and also act as Tier 3 in a 12 hour shift based on site operations at a DoD Facility in Quantico, VA

The Host Based Security System (HBSS) is the official name given to the Department of Defense (DOD) commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) suite of software applications used within the DOD to monitor, detect, and counter attacks against the DOD computer networks and systems. HBSS is based on the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) server product, which is used to manage point products installed on each managed endpoint. Point products include McAfee Agent, McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention, McAfee VirusScan Enterprise, McAfee Policy Auditor, McAfee Device Control Module, & the DoD Asset Configuration Compliance Module. Detection of systems on the network that do not have the software installed is provided by the Rogue System Detection sensors that report back data collected from layer 2 broadcast traffic detected on each network subnet

Responsibilities (Responsible for over 50,000 classified and unclassified workstations and servers):

– Responsible for system operations and maintenance (O&M), and security of the enterprise servers and centralized database virtual instances of HBSS.
– Ensure all implemented patches; maintenance releases, version upgrades, and implemented tuning are integrated into the program baseline after release.
– Ensure HBSS data feeds are routinely feeding SIM, Rollup, CMRS, and other appropriate tools.
– Update the HBSS agents, modules, signature files, and policy sets within 30 days of release/approval by CAB.
– Ensure Rogue System Detection sensors have coverage per USCYBERCOM direction and alerts are reviewed daily.
– Identify and report any implementation, configuration, resource and coverage gaps regarding the deployment and operation of HBSS.
– Operates HBSS on all assets in accordance with approved operating procedures. This includes monitoring HBSS operations and alert logs, notifying their chain of command in accordance with local incident handling procedures, and updating HBSS agents with appropriately approved HBSS policy set changes, programmatic updates, and patches.
– Ensure all assets are being monitored by HBSS, and coordinate with local support to install HBSS agent if unable to install remotely.
– Serves as Tier 2/3 level escalation point for HBSS related tickets/issues
– Works to identify root cause of HBSS-related incidents and provide workaround if applicable to restore service
– Escalates cases where HBSS OPS troubleshooting has been exhausted.
– Assists with troubleshooting all escalated issues
– Provide feedback to engineering on HBSS documentation and process improvements.
– Remediate all systems with missing or out of compliance modules and/or antivirus and HIPS definitions.
– Remediate Distributed Repository replication failures.
– Adds IP addresses to Trusted Networks for any vulnerability scanners.
– Implements appropriate blocking actions requested in accordance with approved TTPs.
